I welcome you to the village of Hassilabied , where I was born.
You will find many shops there: food, cosmetics, traditional clothing, souvenirs, stones and fossils...
Over the years, my experience as a camel driver has allowed me to discover and love the desert and its inhabitants, the Berber nomads.
I like to share this geographical and human wealth with travelers from all over the world who choose to stay at the Vallée des Dunes , a family guest house , built in rammed earth, according to Berber tradition.
The 6 rooms which compose it, are all equipped with a private shower and toilet, and can accommodate from 1 to 17 people.
It is ideally located, at the exit of the village, in the immediate vicinity of the Dunes of Erg Chebbi, the palm grove, as well as the departure point for camel treks and 4x4 circuits and excursions .
You can also visit the large souk of Rissani , the most important commercial place in the region.
For a relaxing or discovery stay, you will appreciate the legendary warmth of the Moroccan welcome and the friendly atmosphere , as well as the careful traditional family cuisine .
The region also hosts numerous sporting events (the Marathon des Sables, the Rallye des Gazelles, the 4L Trophy, etc.), as well as traditional festivals (music festivals, date festivals, etc.).

After a camel trek , you will spend an unforgettable night in a small traditional Berber bivouac located in the middle of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Departure from the hostel is between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (depending on the season), and return around 9 a.m. the next morning .
We welcome you on site from 2 p.m.
The price includes round trip camel transfer with sunset stop, dinner , overnight stay in a private tent and breakfast.
A shower is available upon your return to the hostel.
Nomad Camp - 4x4 Transfer
Breakfast and dinner are included.
After a 4x4 trip in the reg , you will be able to share the daily life of a nomadic Berber family by assisting or participating in domestic tasks : milking goats, preparing meals, baking bread, weaving, spinning wool, etc.
The price includes round-trip 4x4 transfer , dinner , overnight stay in a traditional tent (basic comfort but authenticity guaranteed!), breakfast .
Departure is around 4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m., and return the next morning .
We welcome you on site from 2 p.m.
You can also optimize your stay by adding an excursion or a 4x4 tour to your reservation, to choose from the options (price indicated for 1 or 2 people - supplement for 3 or 4 people).
A shower is available upon returning to the hostel .

Camel trek sunrise or sunset
With the accompaniment of a camel guide, and for a complete immersion in the dunes, we offer you a camel ride, for sunrise or sunset. Duration approximately 2 hours

We accompany you on a personalized tour for one day (around 6 hours).
Discovery of the Saharan environment; The circuit is organized à la carte, according to your interests: fossils, minerals, oases, mine remains, nature, nomadic camps...
The price indicated is for 1 or 2 people. Supplement of 15€ per additional person.

With the accompaniment of a camel guide, and for a complete immersion in the dunes, we offer you a camel ride for a day. Lunch (picnic) is included.
To note :
Between June and September, departure is earlier in the morning, due to the high temperature during the day. The break, around 10 a.m., takes place in a bivouac for the preparation of lunch, the meal and a rest period. The hike starts again when the temperature begins to drop, with another stop for the sunset.
4x4 excursion - 1/2 day
We will accompany you on a personalized tour for half a day (around 3 hours).
You can, according to your choice, discover an oasis, the reg and the mountains, nomadic camps, fossils, stones, meteorites, old mines...
5 people maximum per vehicle (excluding driver).
This option can be combined with Nomad Camp accommodation.
4x4 Excursion - Sunrise or Sunset
We accompany you on a tour, early in the morning or late in the afternoon, for the sunset . (approximately 2 hours).
You will discover the reg , with a visit to the camp of a nomadic family , before stopping in the dunes to enjoy the sunrise or sunset .

Sand bath
Sand bathing in the dunes is a widespread practice in the region. It is practiced from June to September . It is reputed to be beneficial for joint pain and the elimination of toxins .
